Identify and verify source documents
For each document or video, record its title, language, source, revision or publication date when available, and the product or topic it concerns. Confirm that it is the intended material and check whether it remains current before relying on it. Supplied PDFs and videos in their original languages are source materials to be confirmed; their presence does not establish translation, completeness, or project-specific approval.
Use documentation to answer engineering questions
Consult technical documents for stated operating ranges, electrical and mechanical interfaces, limits, connection guidance, and measurement conditions. Interpret values in the context and reference conditions supplied by the source. If a requirement is not addressed, record the gap and request clarification rather than treating silence as confirmation or creating unsupported specifications.
Keep project records usable
Maintain a clear index, version history, and links between requirements, selected components, connection diagrams, and verification records. Distinguish source material from internal notes and identify unresolved questions. Share only material whose identity and use are appropriate for the intended audience, and avoid describing a resource as translated, current, or validated unless that status has been confirmed.
